Python Dictionary Operations

Python Dictionary Operations

Python Dictionary allows us to store key:value pairs. The order of these key:value pairs in a Python Dictionary is not saved, since the purpose of a Python Dictionary does not require this index to be saved.

Example of Python Dictionary

Following is a simple example of a Dictionary.

myDictionary = {
	"pi": 3.14,
	"phi": 1.618
	}
Run this program

In this dictionary, pi and phi are keys while 3.14 and 1.618 are their corresponding values, thus forming key:value pairs.
